A mega clean-up drive was organised at Brighton Beach by the High Commission of India on 21 May 2023. As a part of India’s G20 Presidency, a coordinated beach cleaning activity “G20 Mega Beach Clean Up” was organised across G20 countries.
Indian High Commissioner to the UK, HE Vikram Doraiswami and the Mayor of Brighton and Hove City Council addressed the gathering to clean the shore. The event saw encouraging participation from the local community.
