Mint Leaf restaurant hosted TiE London Charter Members along with accounting firm BDO to get a glimpse into the fast paced world of ICOs.
The stormy British Summer time didn’t dampen spirits as members were educated on the investment opportunities ICO afforded as well as the opportunities to raise capital for fund seeking start-ups.
Nina Amin, TiE President said “With approx 5.6 Billion raised with ICOs in 2017 it’s not a trend that can be ignored. Similarly, the Blockchain, which many ICOs are built on is the technology that will revolutionise not only the banking system but the entire way we transact in the future”
As well as Ollie Chinneck from BDO speakers also included Fahad Kamal an economist from Kleinwort Hambros bank and Odera Ume-Ezeoke who has recently launched CENT.fund, a blockchain and cryptocurrency focused fund.
