On International Women's Day, female entrepreneur, Manasi P Adholiya, 38, from Harrow, was bestowed with the “Young Entrepreneur” award for her innovative new app called Aunty Ji, at the “She Inspires Award 2018” at the Houses of Parliament. The award was organised by IIW (Inspiring Indian Women) and their creative partners, Hangover Media.

The app aims to give registered small companies and business people who do a wide range of jobs, varying from baking, gardening, physical therapy, and so on, an opportunity to compete on the internet against giant search engines such as Google.

IIW received hundreds of applications across the globe for the categories which included Remarkable Mentor, Power Woman, Intellectual, and Glamour; the evening promoted the achievements of 13 inspiring Indian women.

Adholiya said, “I am really honoured to be recognised for the work I am doing and the award means a lot more than I can say. I feel very happy looking at my app and where it has reached on such a small span of time.”
