A man stabbed to death at a Dudley flat has been named as Jaskaran Kang.
The "hard-working father" was pronounced dead at a flat in Stourbridge Road, after police were called at 02:30 GMT last Saturday. The family of Mr Kang, 24, from Handsworth, Birmingham, are appealing for people to come forward.
The force said a post-mortem examination is due to take place later.
Det Insp Justin Spanner, of West Midlands Police, said a murder investigation had been launched. "I am appealing for anyone who may have any information about what happened leading up to the attack," he added.
