International Day of Non-Violence

High Commission of India in London and India League will celebrate Mahatma Gandhi's Birth Anniversary, which is marked as the International Day of Non-Violence. The programme will be held at Tavistock Square Garden, London WC1H 9JE on Sunday, 2nd October 2022 at 10 am. On this occasion, a solemn programme to pay floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi will be held. The programme will include brief speeches followed by the singing of Bhajans in the presence of dignitaries and MPs. This event will possibly mark the first official speech by the newly appointed High Commissioner V Doraiswami.
