Indian High Commission commemorates India’s contribution to WW1

The event included talks by eminent personalities  highlighting the contributions of the Indian Soldiers during the Great War, followed by refreshments.
A welcome address  by Indian High commissioner was followed by speeches by Mr Philip Dunne, Lord Karan Billimoria, Baroness Shreela Flather, Mr Santanu Das (Kings College) and Mr Tony McClenaghan (Secretary, Indian Military Historical society) as well as FD Marshal Sir John Chapple.
