A British Gujarati woman has died after falling during a mountain hike in Tenerife, Spain with her husband. A rescue helicopter was scrambled just before 7pm local time on last Tuesday after Harsha Kotecha, 62, plunged several feet while walking the Roque del Conde path in the south of the island.
Her body was recovered shortly afterwards after one of the rescue team managed to descend on a rope to the spot where she had fallen.
