The IIW She Inspires Awards – Dharma Dubey Special was hosted by Conservative MP for Leicester East, Shivani Raja, on 24 March 2026 at the House of Commons.
These awards honour women aged 40 and above from across the world, recognising their merit, resilience, achievements, and meaningful contributions to the community.
Named in honour of Dharma Dubey, the mother of IIW Founder Rashmi Mishra, the awards celebrate women whose work and life journeys speak for themselves. Recipients are identified either through recommendations or through IIW’s long-term observation of individuals carrying out exemplary work.
These are women who do not seek validation through formal judging or competitive selection processes. Instead, they are acknowledged for their untiring passion, hard work, and perseverance—often in the face of life’s challenges. With no influence or monetary consideration involved, the awards stand as a sincere recognition of those who continue to inspire others through their actions and dedication.
It is a proud moment for the ABPL Group as Jyotsna D R Shah, Consulting Editor of Gujarat Samachar, has been honoured with the IIW Dharma Dubey Special Award 2026. She was recognised for her outstanding contribution to journalism and her dedicated service to the community in both the UK and India over more than four decades.
Among the other distinguished awardees were Hemalatha Manjunath, Dr Kalpana Kundan, Seema Saroj, Betania Fernandes, Sonal Dave, Mina Thakkar, Dia Nag, Santi Gataura, Sangeeta Pillai, Leena Deshmukh, Arunima Roy, Rakhi Poddar, Sharanya Padmanabhan, Rose Marok, Dipti Rewatkar, Cllr Jeevitha Sampangi, Pratibha Chaudhary, Dr Smriti Banerji, Rashmi Bajaj, Shraddha Ballal, Geeta Borooah, Megha Jagawat, Shraddha Chauhan, Geetika Sulekh, Seema Datta, Ananya Dutta, Dr Seema Datta, Rakhee Sharda, Neha Gupta, Sheila Charles Mohan, Vidhya Bharathidasan, Divya Parakat, Dr Nisha Jha, and Dimple.
