Birmingham police are looking for five men after a 22-year-old man was attacked and brutally beaten in Broad Street.
Police have released CCTV images after a group of friends were targeted by five men at around 4.17am on Saturday May 28.
Two men sustained minor injuries and a 22-year-old man who was on a night out needed emergency hospital treatment.
Police say that he has now been discharged but will require further treatment.
A police spokesman said: “CCTV enquiries show the suspects were travelling in a silver coloured Mercedes MPV. Officers are appealing for anyone who thinks they know the identity of the suspects to come forward.”
