A leading surgeon thumped his daughter in the face and threatened to kill her after she called his young girlfriend a “wild whore”, a medical tribunal heard last Tuesday.
Professor Basil Ammori, 53, is said to have grabbed Huda, 22, by the neck as they argued over him leaving his GP wife and setting up home with a single mother less than half his age.
During the bust-up Ammori, a consultant obesity surgeon who carried out a stomach operation for Channel 4 TV show Embarrassing Bodies, screamed “wild b*tch” as he ranted about his former wife Dr Almira Al-Abadi.
Huda, a university student, later needed hospital treatment and developed problems with her eyesight amid fears she had a detached retina.
