Dr Hasmukh Shah honoured by the Royal College of General Practitioners

Dr Hasmukh Shah, a GP working in the South Wales was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) from the Queen at her birthday honour's list in June 2018. In acknowledgement of the award by Queen, Dr Shah was invited to London by the Royal College of General Practitioners to be honoured at an Acclamation Dinner on 28 March 2019, where he was congratulated by the President of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Professor Mayur Lakhani CBE and his fellow GPs for services to the community and for his charitable work.

While thanking his fellow colleagues and the college, Dr Shah said it was a rare honour to be acclaimed by his peers and resolved to dedicate himself to the community and charitable work. 

Dr Shah was awarded Life time Achievement Award in September 2018 by Asian Voice at Grosvenor Hotel, London during 18th Asian Achievers Awards ceremony.
The Royal College of General Practitioners represents 52,000 GPs across the whole of the United Kingdom.
