Ken Livingstone, the former Mayor of London, is being blocked from appearing on TV by members of Jeremy Corbyn’s inner circle, who fear he has become “uncontrollable”.
The Labour leader’s office has reportedly been calling producers on the BBC’s top political shows and insisting that Livingstone does not appear or he be removed.
Also, it is understood that there are no plans to deploy Livingstone in the London mayoral race despite his credentials or ask him to appear in Labour’s local election campaign, a report in the Daily Telegraph said.
