Changa: To inform the Indian Diaspora living in the U.K about the 2 mega projects of Charotar University of Science and Technology (Charusat) and the world-class multi-speciality Charusat Hospital of the world-famous Charusat Campus in Changa, Charusat Educational and Healthcare Trust (CEHT) has been established in U. K. in April 2019. The trust is registered with and registration received from Charity Commissioner U.K. The charity and website were then softly launched by CEHT.
With the noble intention of providing education and health services to every section of society, CEHT has been established. The purpose of establishing CEHT was to learn about the affiliation of CEHT and Charusat affiliates, the various educational programs offered by Charusat University certified by NAAC as ‘A’ grade, the quality of health services provided by Charusat Hospital to society at reasonable rates and to spread awareness in the Indian community living in India. In which distance learning courses, seminars, lectures, and workshops will be organised, opportunities will be provided for student exchange and knowledge will be exchanged. The development of healthcare facilities in India will enhance the education of medical students-professionals as well as help in raising funds for the construction of infrastructure services for the development of health facilities.
Kiritbhai Rambhai Patel, a renowned hotelier and donor, is currently the Director of CEHT. He Has experience in managing various hotel properties and the hotel industry in UK.
Another Director of CEHT, Shri Ambareeshbhai J. Patel (UK) Joined as a scientist at the invitation of the British Medical Council and was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal by Majesty the Poet in 1977 for his scientific work. Another Director of CEHT, Shri Kamleshbhai G. Patel (UK) as an entrepreneur-pharmacist Has started and developed a pharmacy chain as the CEO of Prime Health Group.
While Indravadan A. Patel is a Secretary, who has a professional career in industrial photography and print industry, started his own business in joined the U.K. in 1994 and is now engaged in social-charitable activities.
All the members of CEHT are actively involved in the development of various activities of the Trust. The trust will now be expanded. Shri Kiritbhai N. Patel (Changa / U.K.) and his sister Indirabahen (U.K.) have donated 50,000 pounds to the trust.
On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Charusat Educational and Healthcare Trust (CEHT) will be launching in the UK.
With the launch of this trust, it will be easier for Gujaratis-Indians living in London to get tax relief as per the rules under CEHT and provide financial assistance to Charusat-affiliated organisations.
