Britain: Carolyn Fairbairn, the first woman to lead the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), has stated that business dinners are “not very inclusive” for career women with families.

Black-tie dinners are considered as integral networking events for careers. However, Fairbairn said that she could rarely attend an evening event as she was raising three children.

Additionally, she also mentioned that there were also sporting events which were predominantly attended by men.
