Leading British Asian artists attended the annual BritAsia Music Awards held at Wembley's SSE Arena on Saturday, 30th November.

Headline performers and winners of the evening included household names of Sidhu Moose Wala, Mickey Singh, Juggy D and H-Dhami among others. While the evening celebrated the contributions of culture and diversity, it also encouraged more young BAME individuals to pursue their passion in sports such as football, and other upcoming industries like mutlimedia, animation and production.

One of the key sponsors of the event included HSBC UK Overseas Indian proposition team who found that the awards were a unique gateway to the Asian diaspora. The evening allowed HSBC UK to engage and amplify it’s International Services with key movers and shakers in the community settled in the UK. Kulvinder Shokar, Business Development Manager and Hitesh Mehta, India Service Manager at HSBC UK said,

“We were honoured and privileged to have the opportunity to present an award on the night for Best Music Producer. As we embark on this new journey in a changing world for both countries, ahead lies many opportunities to work with key partners and stakeholders. In year 2020 our priority is to collaborate and develop services which will benefit our international customers; for HSBC it’s about Connecting the Global Indian to Mother India.”
