Boris Johnson is being investigated by the parliamentary standards watchdog for allegedly breaking rules for declaring a new-year holiday in the Caribbean.
Kathryn Stone, the parliamentary standards commissioner is incharge of the investigation, which he took with his partner Carrie Symonds. Downing Street has gone on record to say that “all relevant transparency requirements” for the holiday have been met. Johnson accepted the accommodation for a private holiday, was for his partner and him, that’s worth £15,000, mentioning that it had been provided by Conservative party donor David Ross.
