Nightmare parents are making teachers’ lives hell with personal attacks on Facebook and emails at every hour of the day, schools inspectors warn. Ofsted said many fail to help when children are naughty and in some cases even encourage bad behaviour. Others form ‘mobs’ to shout at staff at the school gates if they disagree with its rules. The watchdog’s end-of-year survey found a lack of support from parents is a key factor in the poor well-being of teachers.
Teachers said parents emailed in the middle of the night expecting an ‘instant response’, calling the school in the morning if they did not get one.
