Queen Elizabeth shows Prince William who’s the boss.

An amusing clip has emerged showing the 90-year-old Queen telling off Prince William.

The shot was captured on camera recently during the monarch’s birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, when the entire Windsor family was watching the RAF flypast, the Duke of Cambridge was seen crouching down to talk to his two-year-old son, Prince George, but the Queen’s expression suggested she was far from impressed with his behaviour. Close examination of the footage suggests that while motioning with her hand for him to rise, she said: “Stand up, William.”

The shocked 33-year-old future king stood to attention immediately at his grandmother’s side as the royal family watched the RAF extravaganza. She then gestured him to appreciate the flypast.

Queen’s horse wins

The Queen had tears of joy after Dartmouth, owned by Her Majesty, won the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. Such was the finish that it took a stewards' inquiry to declare Dartmouth the winner over Highland Reel – Her Majesty's first at the meeting for three years. Nearly £130,000 in prize money went to the winner, with the majority of this for the victorious owner.
