A 27-year-old man was arrested after an instigative device was left in a shopping centre in Preston. He is currently being held in custody on suspicion of committing incendiarism with the intention of endangering life, Lancashire Police said.
Shoppings were made to evacuate Fishergate Shopping Centre, in Preston, after someone found a device described as “crude”, in the public toilets at around 9:10am, on Thursday 17th December.
The device erupted but caused no real damage or casualties.
