The book "Idol of Sainthood Sadguru Shastri Shree Anandpriyadasji Swami" was unveiled, on the 6th of August, during the auspicious occasion of tenth Patotsav celebration of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir - Kumkum, London. The book is based on the life story of the founder of the Mandir, Sadguru Shastri Shree Anandpriyadasji Swami.
C.B. Patel (Publisher and Editor-in-Chief) and Mahesh Liloriya (Group Editor) of Asian Business Publications Ltd., publishers of Gujarat Samachar -Asian Voice graced the event with their presence.
During this event, the author of the book, Sadhu Premvatsaldasji, mentioned that C.B. Patel has played a significant role in keeping the Gujarati language alive in Europe, and in promoting and disseminating it. He added that “For more than 51 years, CB has dedicated his services and worked hard for the right and upliftment of the British Asian community through Gujarat Samachar and Asian Voice. As a result, he has been honoured with several awards, including recognition from India's Prime Minister and President, for his substantial contributions. It is commendable how Maheshbhai is actively supporting and co-operating in pushing forward the legacy of ABPL Group.”
On the occasion, CB said, “These saints are the custodians of our culture. They frequently visit London and engage our youth in Satsang, thereby keeping our culture intact. Shree Premvatsaldaji Swami has been writing for Gujarat Samachar for many years and his writings are an inspiration for the young generation. Today, knowing that he has written this book brings me immense joy.”
During the book launch, Sadhu Premvatsaldasji, mentioned that temples, scriptures, and saints are the main pillars of the Hindu culture. Such scriptures nurture and enrich our culture.
This book narrates how Shastri Shree Anandpriyadasji Swami lived his life. It portrays the exemplary life he led and the profound messages he imparted. Alongside the life teachings, the book includes various photographs that provide glimpses of Swamiji's presence, enabling readers to connect more closely with his teachings.
Today, people find immense joy and pleasure on social media platforms, similarly reading religious books can bring the same level of joy. If one adapts the teachings of such books in their life, it can lead to happiness and so it is advisable to read religious books daily and incorporate their principles into one's life. We can establish ideals for our lives and strive for a content and happy existence.
At the end, Shastri Shree Harikrishnaswarupdasji Swami of Kumkum Sanstha honored C.B. Patel and also felicitated Mahesh Liloriya. The book has been published with generous financial support from Mayaben D. Pindoriya and Dhanuben K. Halai.
