100 Days of Don

The most despicable President in American history, Donald Trump completed 100 days in the office last week, and by the look of it, has managed to keep up with his campaign promises. It's been a rough couple of months, as Trump's presidency remained plagued with scandals, protests, and a press so critical, it has the billionaire convinced they are after him.

The first couple of months of the Trump regime brought the world and the overtly confident businessman face to face with the stark reality- neither are ready for each other. One of the many things to change under the new leadership was the USA's approach to the Trans-Pacific Partnership. After taking oath, Trump almost immediately signed an executive order to pull out of the TPP, prompting rival China to step in the forefront. He continued to make hogwash claims including one blaming former president Barack Obama of tapping his phones during the 2016 presidential polls.

He caused a collective uproar by imposing a temporary travel ban on visitors specifically from Muslim-dominant countries including Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Syria, and Libya. The order has been challenged not once, but twice by US courts. After basing his campaign on the promise of a hands-off approach towards the Syrian civil war, Trump authorised a Tomahawk missile attack targeting an airfield after a suspected chemical attack by the Syrian government.

Trump continues to aggressively repeal the Affordable Care Act pushed by his predecessor Obama, directly affecting Planned Parenthood and women's health rights. He however, suffered a major setback when an important chunk of Republicans themselves opposed the repeal. Trump most recently signed an order set to reform the visa program for foreign technical workers. Largely affecting Indians, the change in H1B visas are causing Indian techies to return home.

Last but not the least, the first 100 days of Trump saw the leak of a unconfirmed binder vouching for his alleged relationship with Russia. Also revealed was the President's certain unspeakable preferences.
