Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas stood as the sole South Asian presenter at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, marking her third appearance at the prestigious Beverly Hills ceremony.
Dressed in a custom midnight-blue Dior Haute Couture gown by Jonathan Anderson, she represented Indian talent on the world stage just ahead of her highly anticipated 2026 releases, including the pirate action-thriller ‘The Bluff’ and the period drama ‘Varanasi’. In a moment that immediately went viral, Priyanka walked hand-in-hand onto the stage with Blackpink’s Lisa to present the award for Best Actor in a Television Drama to Noah Wyle for his performance in The Pitt.
Attending the event with her husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka shared behind-the-scenes moments with her fans. In a video, Priyanka expressed excitement about her "date night" with Nick, while also admiring her elegant Dior dress and joking about making sports references on stage. She showed a humorous side, saying, “Our grandmothers taught us well” as she pulled out a tissue to dab her watering eye before heading to the venue.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another dominated the Golden Globes, winning four awards, including Best Motion Picture and Best Director. Timothée Chalamet claimed his first Golden Globe for ‘Marty Supreme’.
Netflix's Adolescence also made history, winning four awards, including Best Limited Series. 16-year-old Owen Cooper became the youngest-ever supporting actor winner, with co-stars Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty also taking home awards. Kumail Nanjiani won Best Stand-Up Comedy Performance for Night Thoughts, while ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters' won Best Animated Film.
