Gujarati columnist Father Carlos Gonzalez Valles SJ passes away

Veteran author and Gujarati columnist Father Carlos Gonzalez Valles SJ, popularly known as Father Valles passed away on Monday, November 9.  He was 95 and breathed his last in Spain. A Jesuit priest born in Spain, he was a Mathematics teacher in Gujarat. He wrote extensively in Gujarati, English and Spanish. He translated many mathematical concepts into Gujarati and coined terms for them. Father Valles was a dear friend of our Publisher-Editor CB Patel and a close ally of the ABPL Group.
