Dhaka: A Bangladeshi passenger on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Dhaka was tied up mid-flight after he stripped off his clothes and attacked a stewardess. The incident took place in the flight of Malindo Air, the Kuala Lumpur-based Star reports. Malaysian media sources named the man as Didar Al Mahmud, but the name could not be confirmed. The 20-year-old, believed to be a university student from Cyberjaya, was also alleged to have masturbated while watching pornography during the flight. He even walked naked to the toilet and urinated on his seat.

While describing the bizarre incident, witnesses said the man became violent when asked to wear clothes and attacked the head stewardess. Eventually other passengers tied him up with a piece of cloth. Nude pictures of the man went viral on social media platforms.

Malindo Air said on its Facebook page the disruptive passenger was turned over to a Dhaka security team upon arrival and was put behind jail by authorities. It also pledged to remain vigilant and ensure safe travel for its passengers.
