According to a new trend, brides are opting for an alternative option for their wedding bouquet by replacing the tradition flowers with kale, broccoli and cabbage.

Florists have revealed that fruit and vegetables have become popular as a choice for nuptial flowers. Carrots, leeks and citrus fruits are said to have successfully replaced roses and peonies.

The symbolic value of herbs have also become a fashionable addition to bouquets. For example, lavender signifies devotion and undying love, while thyme represents courage.
