In an annual seminar organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the UK-India Business Council on 14th July, students from the Ahmedabad University will get a first-hand opportunity to learn the perspective on entrepreneurship in the UK and see how their businesses may benefit.

These students are second or third generation business owners from leading business houses and have just finished an intensive Executive Education course at Judge Business School in Cambridge.

Among the speakers are CB Patel, publisher and editor of Asian Voice and Gujarat Samachar, and Dr Roger Hayes, FICCI Honorary Advisory in the UK and one of the team to oversee two Vibrant Gujarat Summits from 2009.

Business Advisor at the UKIBC, Siddharth Mukne said, "The UKIBC supports UK businesses with the insights, networks, policy advocacy, services, and facilities needed to succeed in India. However, it's wonderful to be able to help young entrepreneurs from India to understand the UK market and the wider opportunities for partnerships between two countries."

The students will be from a range of background including textiles, media, manufacturing and biotech. Their visit to London will also include interactions with other senior business leaders including from the Hinduja Group.
