Syria Counts is a platform dedicated to telling the stories of the Syrian conflict and has produced a film to showcase some of the positive work being done in the UK to help the plight of Syrian children.
Through informing, inspiring and giving voice to the untold stories of the most urgent crisis of our time, Syria Counts improves understanding as regards to the complexities of the conflict and the severity of the humanitarian crisis, reinforcing the message that Syria is not forgotten.
With all the harrowing images and events taking place in Syria at the moment, and the issue high on the news agenda, the film shows the positive action taking place, which is desperately needed.
In the film, three young professionals work tirelessly to get to grips with Syrian cooking to create a pop-up Syrian kitchen, in order to raise over £1,000 for UNICEF’s Cook for Syria campaign.
