RIZ AHMED’S SHOW THE LONG GOODBYE POSTPONED

Monday 16th March 2020 10:36 EDT

The Long Goodbye slated to be held on the 27 March 2020 at the Manchester International Festival has now been postponed owing to the Corona Virus pandemic. This announcement follows after government and health officials warn against public gatherings and encourage individuals to enter into self-isolation. A spokesperson of The Long Goodbye team said,

“As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to escalate around the world, the health, safety, and well-being of our audiences, artists and staff continues to be our top priority. With that in mind, Manchester International Festival (MIF), the creative team and our colleagues at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) have together made the decision to postpone the upcoming shows of The Long Goodbye in Manchester and New York to support global efforts to reduce the coronavirus spread.

“Ticket holders will be the first to receive details of the rescheduled shows, when confirmed, and will have access to a week-long priority booking period. Meanwhile all who booked tickets will be refunded the ticket cost, transaction fee and refund protection if purchased. We will announce the new dates as soon as details are confirmed.”
