Luxury watchmaker Rolex has welcomed actor, producer and philanthropist Priyanka Chopra Jonas to its prestigious roster of global ambassadors, recognising her achievements across film, production and humanitarian work.
Rolex has officially named Priyanka Chopra Jonas as its newest global ambassador, adding the Indian actor and producer to an elite group of internationally recognised figures associated with the luxury watchmaker.
Announcing the partnership, Rolex highlighted Chopra Jonas's journey from winning Miss World in 2000 to building a career that spans film, television, production and advocacy. The company also acknowledged her work through Purple Pebble Pictures and her long-standing association with UNICEF.
While celebrity endorsements are common in the luxury sector, the appointment reflects Chopra Jonas's evolution into a global cultural figure whose influence extends far beyond cinema. After establishing herself as one of Hindi cinema's leading actors, she successfully transitioned into the international entertainment industry, a move that remains challenging even for established stars. Her breakthrough came with the American television series Quantico, making her one of the first South Asian women to headline a major US network drama.
Her international portfolio has since expanded through projects including Baywatch, The White Tiger, Citadel and the recently released Heads of State, while upcoming film The Bluff is among her latest projects.
The Rolex partnership also comes amid growing recognition of Chopra Jonas's commercial influence. She was recently ranked as India's most valuable female celebrity on the Fortune India–Interbrand list, ahead of several of her contemporaries including Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Rashmika.
For Rolex, the collaboration signals the appeal of a personality whose reach spans industries, markets and audiences. For Chopra Jonas, it marks another milestone in a career that has steadily moved from national success to global recognition.
