Australian-Tamil singer Dhee released a high-energy remix of her Tamil single 'Vari Vari' collaborating with KATSEYE’s Lara Raj to showcase Tamil sisterhood on a global stage.
The original emotive track, released in April 2026, has already accumulated over 33 million global streams. Designed for the dancefloor, this club-ready rework blends high energy with the song's cultural core. Both artists described the collaboration as a joyful celebration of their shared heritage, recommending fans listen to the vibrant track on maximum volume.
Born in Sydney, Dhee relocated to Chennai to build her Tamil music career, contributing 'Naan Nee' to Madras in 2014, followed by film tracks for Irudhi Suttru in 2016 and Kaala in 2018. Her international recognition soared with 2018's 'Rowdy Baby' alongside Dhanush, which surpassed 1.7 billion YouTube views, and 2021's 'Enjoy Enjaami' with Santhosh Narayanan, garnering over 52.5 million Spotify streams. In 2026, Dhee expanded her global presence by featuring on H&M’s 'Red Stage' alongside R&B artist GIVEON and Absolutely, reinterpreting 'Like I Want You' with Indian musical elements.
Having collaborated with Ed Sheeran, WondaGurl, and Tiwa Savage, Dhee continues to bridge Tamil music with international audiences.
