The Dhamecha Group marked its 50th anniversary on 6 June with a celebratory reception at the Great Room of the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London. Over the past five decades, the family-owned business has grown into one of the UK's leading FMCG wholesalers, supplying thousands of independent retailers across the country.

Built on trust, integrity and strong relationships, the Group has earned the confidence of retailers and suppliers alike. These values have been at the heart of the business since day one and continue to drive its success and commitment to supporting independent retailers across the UK.

The occasion brought together colleagues, suppliers, retailers, business associates, community leaders and members of the Dhamecha family to honour the company's achievements over the past five decades.

Speaking at the celebration, Pradip Dhamecha, CEO of the Dhamecha Group, reflected on the company's journey, highlighting the determination, vision and family values that have shaped its success. Over the years, the Group has continued to invest in its people, infrastructure and technology, enabling it to enhance the customer experience and strengthen its position as one of the UK's leading wholesalers At the heart of the business are its people, both customers and colleagues, many of whom have been part of the Dhamecha Group journey for decades.

The event also paid tribute to the late Pujya Khodidasbhai Dhamecha, his brothers Shantibhai and Jayantibhai and revered, Pujya Laduma, whose values continue to guide the family even today. While the Dhamecha Group's success is evident in its remarkable business achievements, family members reflected on how Laduma's greatest legacy lies in the principles she instilled in her children, hard work, humility, compassion and generosity.
