Team MRF Tyres reached a historic milestone as they were officially crowned champions of the 2025 FIA European Rally Championship (ERC).
During the prestigious FIA Awards Gala held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Arun Mammen, the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of MRF Ltd, accepted the Team Title trophy from Manuel Avino, the FIA Vice-President for Europe. This victory marks the third time the Indian tyre manufacturer has secured the prestigious European title, following their previous championship successes in 2022 and 2023.
The 2025 campaign required the team to demonstrate exceptional technical prowess and resilience across eight rounds of diverse and punishing terrains across Europe. By winning the Team Championship, MRF Tyres successfully outpaced major global competitors through a strategy of consistent podium finishes and rigorous tyre development.
Mammen noted during the ceremony that the achievement serves as a testament to the dedication of the firm’s engineers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure peak performance on every stage of the rally.
This latest triumph reinforces MRF’s growing influence in international motorsport and validates their significant investment in research and development. The team’s ability to secure three titles within four years highlights a period of dominance in the ERC, proving that their products can compete at the highest level of world rallying.
