The terrorist state of Pakistan has got away with its madness for decades. India should have finished it off in 1947 when it attacked Indian Kashmir. This was the first huge error of judgement made by Nehru, and as history has shown us, not his last error when it came to any issue related to Pakistan. Since then, successive Indian governments have relented and appeased to the terrorism exported by Pakistan. Every now and then we have seen some sign of a fight back, for example in 1971 when India freed East Pakistan which became Bangladesh. However, even then instead of finishing the job off and taking back Pakistan occupied India (aka POJK), they once again relented and allowed the rogue Pakistani state to get away with it.
The west pandered to Pakistan since they could not control India or cope with its friendship with Russia. Pakistan found itself in a unique position where the western powers were gifting billions to them, and at the same time, successive Indian governments appeared not to have the spine to take the fight to them. They adopted the behaviour of a rogue terrorist state knowing that no one was really going to make them pay for their errors. In 1990 when cross-border Pakistan sponsored terrorists (with aid of home-grown Indian Muslims) attacked Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government for all intents and purposes were sleeping on the job. At that time the Pakistani terrorists used the terms, “Ralib Galib Chalib" – meaning, convert, die or leave. Their target was all non-Muslims. They went house to house demanding to know if you were a Muslim or a Hindu. Give the wrong answer and your fate was sealed. The butchers of humanity murdered hundreds of innocent people and they used rape as a tool of their terror. The modus operandi of thisevil was very simple, it was age old, and tested over thousands of years.
On 22nd April 2025 once again India suffered at the hands of Pakistani sponsored terrorists. The attack left 26 dead with multiple others injured. The perpetrators asked if you were a Muslim or not. This is anti-Hindu hate crime.
The outcry in India is understandable. After all, this resembled the Hamas attack of Oct 7th on Israel. There is now emerging evidence that Hamas operatives have recently been in Pakistan.
The most striking outcome so far has been that most political parties have all united against Pakistan. Even parties who in the past had championed the madness of Pakistan have finally learned that backing such an evil entity was no longer possible. Bollywood stars who had appeased to Pakistan and Islamists also came out uniting behind PM Modi and India. The support for India has been global. Every major nation and political leader is now in favour of India.
President Trump expressed his, “full support and deepest sympathies” to Prime Minister Modi and the people of India in the wake of the terrorist attack in Kashmir. Adding, “the US stands strong with India against Terrorism. We pray for the souls of those lost, and for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you all”. And a further statement that will send shockwaves throughout Pakistan when he said,“India and the United States stand together in the fight against terror”.
Tulsi Gabbard(United States Director of National Intelligence) made an even more powerful statement when she said, ‘we stand in solidarity with India in the wake of the horrific Islamist terrorist attack, targeting and killing 26 Hindus in Pahalgam. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with those who lost a loved one, PM Modi, and with all the people of India. We are with you and support you as you hunt down those responsible for this heinous attack”. She identified that these Pakistani terrorists singled out Hindus. The same Modus Operandi that Hamas used to identify Jews when attacking Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu took to X and said he was “deeply saddened by the barbaric terrorist attack” that killed and injured dozens of innocents. Adding, “our thoughts and prayers are with the victims & their families. Israel stands with India in its fight against terrorism”.
PM Modi made an explosive statement when he said that the fate that will befall Pakistan will be on an unimageable scale. We may read this in many ways, but I prefer to read it as its written. On this occasion India has no choice but to inflict pain on such a massive scale to Pakistan, that its own people revolt against the terrorist dictatorship that has been in place since 1947. Let’s be very clear there is no difference between Imran Khan, Zia ul Haq, the Bhutto’s, or the Sharif’s, or the long list of butchers in charge of Pakistan.
What options are available for India? There are some that I am unable to share with you, for obvious reasons. However, before the real action starts, we will see Pakistan hit on the diplomatic front. Getting rid of the Indus water treaty, something that should never have been agreed, is a powerful tool. Making it difficult for goods and services to enter Pakistan via road, rail, sea or air will shake the fragile economy of Pakistan. Targeted hits on key entities, terror camps and infrastructure. Working with Iran, Baloch, Afghanistan and Sindh who have a direct gripe with Pakistani terror.
Pakistan by reneging on the Simla Agreement has fallen for the trap laid by India. Now it’s open season, since no longer is Pakistan protected by a false LoC. Helping to split Pakistan into four pieces would be a good idea. To take back Pakistan occupied India, BUT not its content, andto do so with very high controls in place. To create a dead zone between Pakistan and India and re-establish the 1947 border. To dismantle the terror infrastructure and exterminate those who thrive on such networks.
The elephant in the room is of course nuclear weapons. Can we be sure thatPakistan will not use them? The only observation I have is that can the USA, or the EU allow Pakistan to go down thatroute. The use of nukes is not just a danger for the Indian sub-continent, it’s a danger to the whole world order.
One final point, everyone must be patient. What India does next will take time. It will be done systematically and over a period of its own choosing. This is a time when all Indians need to take a step back from the rhetoric and allow the government full freedom to plan and execute its strategy. We have waited since 1947;it will take time to sort this mess out for good. And for that to happen, Modi 4.0 and Modi 5.0 will be needed. Indians in India need to step up. Jai Hind.
