Mollywood actor Dileep’s film titled Bha Bha Ba (Bhayam Bhakthi Bahumanam), his first release after his recent acquittal in the 2017 actress assault case, drew a massive audience on its opening day.
In the 2017 assault case of a sexual assault case of a South Indian actress, Dileep was accused of conspiracy and orchestrating the crime. While 6 people were found guilty, Dileep was acquitted of all the charges. Even after many actors taking a stand against Dileep, the industry decided to stand by him, and the biggest example is ‘Bha Bha Ba’, where Dileep’s co-star is Mohanlal.
The film, which was shot amidst the controversy, still remains as an eyesore for many Malayali audience who still refuse to believe that Dileep is innocent.
