Vinubhai Nagrecha has passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love, compassion and achievement
A community stalwart, philanthropist and renowned businessman Vinodrai Bachubhai Nagrecha (78) passed away on Monday 22 April 2024. He has left behind a legacy of love, compassion and achievements that will forever be remembered. The Nagrecha family has lost a hero, who has been a loving husband, brother, uncle, and a special friend to many.

A kind-hearted Vinubhai helped worthwhile causes not only in the UK but in Africa and India too. He showed his commitment to strengthening the community, culture and values by organising various cultural and musical get-togethers. He was a prominent figure in the Ugandan Asian community in the UK. He was a respected family man, a pivotal leader, a mentor, an entrepreneur and a great community supporter. His lifelong dedication and significant contributions have left a lasting impact in the UK, on Indian and Ugandan communities.

Son of Late Bachubhai and Late Hariben Nagrecha, Vinodrai aka Vinubhai was born on 19 July 1945. He was husband to Neelamben Nagrecha, Brother to Hasmukhbhai, Chandubhai, Jayaben Chandarana, Ushaben Thakkar (Karia), Umiben Radia and Pannaben Lakhani.

The Prathna will be held at Hariben Bachubhai Nagrecha Hall 202-204 Leyton Road, London, E15 1DT on Thursday 25 April 2024 from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm. The family also welcomes personal condolences at their home, Hari Nivas, 8 Grove Park, Wanstead, London, E11 2DL, on April 26 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

The funeral ceremony will be at the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, London E12 5DQ on Sunday 28 April 2024 at 11.45am.
