Filmmaker Atlee, who had previously hinted at his Hollywood aspirations, has confirmed that the dream is indeed in motion. He said in an interview, “Yes, it’s happening. It took me eight years to reach Bollywood… maybe in the next three years, you will see something there with a great announcement.”
Atlee reiterated his commitment to delivering maximum entertainment. He said, “I have been genuine to my promise. U have kept my responsibility the same. In future, if I ever make a Hollywood film, I will do the same.” While details about his upcoming Hollywood projects remain under wraps, Atlee promises an exciting announcement within the next three years.
On the work front, Atlee is currently awaiting his upcoming production, ‘Baby John’ starring Varun Dhawan. The first-look poster of the film, which will be released in theatres on May 31, was shared earlier this month. Produced by Jio Studios and Cine1Studios, it also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film features Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in supporting roles. It is a Hindi remake of Vijay Sethupathi’s film 'Theri.'
