Bittu Bajrangi booked for Nuh riots granted bail

A court in Nuh granted bail to Raj Kumar alias Bittu Bajrangi, who was arrested earlier this month for rioting on July 31, the day communal clashes broke out during a religious procession in the district. Police said Bittu was produced before the court of judicial magistrate (first class) Sandeep Kumar. Booked in another case of alleged hate speech as well linked to the July 31 communal violence, Bittu was arrested on August 15 on a complaint by ASP Usha Kundu. He was sent to judicial custody on August 17, and lodged in Faridabad’s Neemka jail after Nuh cops requested the judge to transfer him over security concerns about keeping him in the district jail.
