Vaishnava temples across AP decorated for Vaikunta Ekadasi

The shrines of the various forms of Lord Vishnu have been adorned at Vaishnava temples throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh in preparation for the upcoming Vaikunta Ekadasi festival, which is expected to be celebrated in style. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made elaborate arrangements for the grand conduct of the festival at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. The Vaikunta Dwaram surrounding the temple's sanctum sanctorum will be opened for ten days starting on Monday morning after the completion of some pre-dawn religious rituals. In preparation for a large crowd, TTD had erected intricate barricading measures at a number of neighbourhood temples in Tirupati and its outskirts.
