According to reports, a Hindu woman was slain in Pakistan's Sinjhoro town. In a tweet, Pakistan's first female senator from the Hindu minority, Krishna Kumari, tweeted about the 40-year-old woman from Bheel community member as having had her breast chopped off and beheaded.
The Pakistan Peoples Party leader said that skin was peeled off from the victim's body and face. The woman is survived by four children.
"Daya Bheel, 40-year-old widow brutally murdered and her body was found in very bad condition. Her head was separated from the body and the savages had removed the flesh from the whole head. " she tweeted.
"Daya Bheel, who was brutally murdered -- her case won't be highlighted in the media, nor will Politicians in Islamabad or the Sindh Government Issue a statement. Will the police apprehend culprits? Will Hindus be treated as equal citizens in their motherland Sindh? tweeted by a nonprofit news organization.
In response to the murder of a Hindu woman named Daya Bheel in the province of Sindh, India urged Pakistan to safeguard its minority’s members.
Speaking at the weekly media briefing of the Ministry of External Affairs, spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, "We have seen reports about it, but we don't have specific details on the case, but we have reiterated that Pakistan should protect its minorities along with their safety, security and well-being, which is their responsibility."
Hindus, a minority in Pakistan, are regularly the victim of hostility, kidnappings, rapes, forced marriages, and even murder. Last year in Pakistan's Punjab, a Hindu woman was undressed, raped, and tortured for requesting payment of her daily wage.
