When a picture of Ranbir Kapoor proposing to Alia Bhatt in Masai Mara had gone viral on social media, courtesy of the actress’ mother Soni Razdan, fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable moment. Alia had also gone on to narrate the story of her proposal on her episode of Koffee With Karan. Now, another picture from the special moment has been going viral on social media. The same was shared by Alia’s mother in the form of a reel but she soon went on to delete the post later.
Talking about the picture, it shows Alia rather in an emotional moment wherein she can be seen breaking down to tears as Ranbir Kapoor goes down on his knees to pop up the question. While Ranbir can be seen wearing a navy-blue t-shirt with khaki-colored pants and a cap, Alia can be seen in a green-colored full-sleeved attire that she has paired up with khaki-colored pants too. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor proposing to his ladylove amidst the backdrop of a jungle and leaving her overwhelmed with joy is too endearing to witness.
However, many fans are also against the picture going viral on social media. Alia’s mother Soni Razdan for some reason had gone on to delete the reel consisting of this picture. This led to many fans believing that the Raazi actress didn’t want this particular picture to be circulated. Earlier Alia had sent her fans gushing while talking about the proposal.
The actress had said, “In terms of Ranbir and his planning, he totally blew my mind away because I was not expecting it. We were not even talking about it. We were talking about it for a very long time but then there were so many pandemic delays, that we decided we won’t talk about it. We’ll just go with the feeling. And that’s exactly what he did. He didn’t tell anyone. He just carried the ring and he did it in the most amazing place, Maasai Mara. He had planted our guide to take the picture also.” The couple tied the knot in April this year and welcomed their daughter, Raha in November.
