The wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, Mira Kapoor, was at an event in Mumbai over the weekend where she was surrounded by the paps. In a video shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram, the mother of two was seen walking towards the venue's exit when she asked the paparazzi to let her go. She wore a black and white body con dress and tied her hair back in a ponytail. She completed her look with a pair of heels and earrings.
The short clip also captures Mira cracking a joke as she urged the media to let her go. She laughed as she said, “Mere bachche kal subah school jayenge toh aap mujhe jaane dijiye (My children need to go school tomorrow, so please let me go).” The paparazzi immediately agreed and she bid goodbye as she took an elevator.
The video was shared with the caption, "Mira excuses herself as she wants to make sure her kids go to school tomorrow morning on time. Such a self-disciplined and hands-on mamma." Reacting to the post, actor Rashami Desai dropped a red heart emoji.
Mira and Shahid Kapoor tied the knot in 2015 and have two beautiful children – daughter Misha Kapoor and son Zain Kapoor. Mira is an influencer on social media. The family shifted to their new luxurious duplex apartment in Worli, Mumbai, last year. According to media reports, the house came at a whopping cost of Rs 58 Crore. It reportedly comes with six parking slots and a spacious 500 sq feet balcony.
