Bajrang Dal member arrested for Nuh rioting

Bittu Bajrangi, the Bajrang Dal member and cow vigilante out on bail for a provocative video posted ahead of the communal clash on July 31, has been arrested again, this time by Nuh police for alleged involvement in rioting and carrying arms on the day of the violence. Bittu, whose name is Raj Kumar, was arrested from his house in Faridabad. Police filed the case themselves based on their investigations. Bittu and around 15-20 of his supporters allegedly came to the temple carrying swords and tridents.When police intercepted them and tried to seize the weapons, the group became “aggressive” and started shouting slogans against police, the ASP said in the complaint. They then assaulted cops before the group was detained in a police vehicle. Eventually, Bittu and his supporters managed to open the rear window of the police vehicle and escape with their weapons, according to the FIR.
