Bollywood actor Kiara Advani has joined the cast of the sequel of the blockbuster action film ‘War.’ She will share screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the movie which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
A trade source confirmed the news saying, “Kiara Advani fits the bill to the T as far as YRF Spy Universe and War 2 is concerned. Kiara is right now at the top of the heap and Adi (Aditya Chopra) taking her for War 2 loudly signifies that.”
The source added, “Aditya Chopra is going all out to make this film the slickest and the coolest action entertainer that this country has ever seen. It will be really exciting to see Kiara in this universe and how Ayan and Adi present her in War 2. All the heroines of the Spy Universe have left an unforgettable mark on Indian cinema. Now, it is Kiara’s turn and we all know she can make a huge impact on screen with War 2.”
‘War 2’ is a part of YRF’s ambitious spy universe, which kicked off with Shah Rukh Khan’s global hit ‘Pathaan.’ The next film in the line is ‘Tiger 3,’ headlined by Salman Khan. After ‘War 2,’ the production house will present the audience with the Tiger vs Pathaan film, which would feature the epic clash between Salman’s Tiger and Shah Rukh’s Pathaan.
