Infosys is the only Indian firm featured in Time magazine’s World’s Best Companies of 2023. Infosys was ranked 64 in the list of top 100 companies. It has been ranked particularly high in sustainability and employee satisfaction. Time, along with data gathering platform Statista, curated the world’s best companies based on a formula of revenue growth, employee-satisfaction surveys, and rigorous environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG, or sustainability) data.
Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet, Meta and Accenture are the top five companies in the list. For the sixth year in a row, in 2022, Infosys was listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), a leading benchmark for corporate sustainability. Infosys has said it is driving climate action across its operations. It has been recognised for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change by the global environmental non-profit CDP, securing a place on the CDP annual ₹A List’ in 2022. This was the seventh year in a row that Infosys had been featured in the leadership category under the CDP Climate Change disclosure a testament to the company’s climate action efforts, including climate-related risk management, mitigation initiatives, transparent disclosures on emissions, and emission reduction initiatives across the supply and value chain.
