In February of this year, Dubai opened the world’s largest inflatable park, setting a Guinness World Record. Taking inspiration from this, Chennai, in South India, has also made its mark with Mohammed Wasif of Airborne, creating South India's first and most extensive inflatable park.

Located within Chennai's Marina Mall in Egattur, this vast 7,200-square-foot space offers entertainment suitable for individuals of all age groups. To address the potential challenge of maintaining balance on inflatable surfaces, grip socks are available for a nominal fee, while secure lockers are provided for visitors to store their belongings safely.

"We prioritise safety and ensure a vigilant team of five to six staff members consistently monitors the area," Wasif explains. He is renowned for establishing Airborne, Chennai's inaugural exclusive trampoline park on Khader Nawaz Khan Road, back in 2017.

Educating patrons on safe movement within the inflatable space, including guidelines to avoid jumping too close to others, has been a vital aspect of their efforts. The entire arena remains under continuous surveillance, and the staff is readily available to address visitors' inquiries and ensure the secure execution of activities.

"To minimise the risk of injuries, we've taken extensive measures such as eliminating sharp edges and cushioning all surfaces. Each zone has its own dedicated staff for added safety," he further elaborates.
