Tamil Nadu minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajanwas was moved out of the finance ministry and given the information technology and digital services portfolio - less than a month after BJP released the “PTR tapes” in which the party alleged that the voice heard in the tape was that of CM M K Stalin’s son and son-in-law taking about amassing of wealth by Thiaga Rajan. Former industries minister Thangam Thennarasu, replaced PTR in the finance department, while Stalin gave the industries portfolio to DMK MP and former Union minister TR Baalu’s son T R B Raaja, who became the newest member in the ministry. Besides, S M Nasar has been dropped as the dairy development minister. Stalin said that his ministry was reorganised for administrative reasons. He exuded confidence that 46-year-old Raaja would make all efforts to attract more investments.
