Actress Sobhita Dhulipala addressed rumours about her relationship with actor Naga Chaitanya in a recent media interaction. The actor, who has been busy promoting her latest film ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II,’ said she is now focusing on her career. She also added that she doesn’t need to answer to people “who speak without knowledge.”
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Since their relationship ended in 2021, his name has been linked to Sobhita. A picture of the two at a restaurant surfaced online a couple of months ago, further fuelling their relationship rumours. Neither of them has confirmed or denied their alleged relationship.
Now reacting to the rumours, Sobhita said, “I'm very fortunate for having a chance to work in beautiful films. I'm a classical dancer and I like dancing. To have performed three AR Rahman's songs in Mani Ratnam's film is a very big thing for me. I am focused on it right now. For people who speak without knowledge, I don't think I need to answer them. I don't feel the urge to clarify things when I'm not doing any wrong and it is not my business.”
Sobhita added that instead of clarifying things, 'people write with half-knowledge', and therefore, she prefers to be 'calm' and focus on her life. She said, "Instead of answering or clarifying about things people write with half-knowledge, one must focus on your life, improve it, be calm, and try to be a good person.”
