It’s no secret that actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are neighbours to actor-cricketer couple Anushka Sharma and Viral Kohli. In a recent interview with a magazine, Anushka revealed that Kat and Vicky had invited her and Virat to their home for dinner.
Speaking about the dinner party, Anushka recalled she had told Katrina they eat dinner at 6 pm. She said, “Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said, for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks.”
Confessing that she is a “bit of a recluse and socially awkward,” Anushka said she prefers calling a few friends over to her own house for dinner and having home-cooked meals. She shared how she has “never been to someone who enjoys loud, noisy parties.” She also mentioned actor Shah Rukh Khan, who understands her just like Katrina. “The two of them really understand that I’m socially awkward and they accept me that way. That’s the nicest thing that anyone can do in the world.”
On the work front, Anushka recently appeared in the Netflix film ‘Qala.’ She will be next seen in her first project since her daughter Vamika’s birth - ‘Chakda Xpress.’ The film is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
