Actor Vicky Kaushal was on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ recently along with Sara Ali Khan to promote their film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.’ In conversation with the host, Vicky revealed how his actor-wife Katrina Kaif plans his birthday to the minutest of details.
In a new clip from the episode, Kapil is seen congratulating Vicky on his birthday. He said in a lighter tone, “Jiss din aapka janam hua uss din mere janam ki taiyari shuru hue thi as mere mummy papa ka anniversary hota hai May 16 ko (The day you were born, the preparations for my birth had started, as it is my parents’ anniversary is on 16th).”
Kapil then went on to ask Vicky that before the wedding he must have been celebrating his birthday with friends as bachelors, but what has changed after the wedding?
Vicky shared, “Pichla saal wo pehle birthday tha, shaadi k baad wala. Humne phir doston ke sath hi manaya. Uss group me ab Katrina bhi thi, toh hum sab ne sath me hin manaya (Last year was that first birthday after marriage, and we again celebrated with friends. Katrina was also in that group now, so we all celebrated together).”
Kapil then asked, “But Katrina planning krti hai aapke birthday ki (But, Katrina plans your birthday)?,” to which Vicky said, ” Bohot bohot karti hai (Yes, a lot).” Kapil got excited and said, “Ye aacha ho jata hai ki aadmi ki tension khatam ki kahan party karni hai, kahan jana hai (This is good. There is no stress about where to go, where to party).” Vicky added, “Hum dono mei Katrina ‘planner’ hai. Itna mera dimag nahi chalta jitna wahan planning ho jati hai (Katrina is the planner between the two of us. I can’t think at the level at which she plans).”
Kapil said on this, “Kyunki aapne main planning kr li na, shaadi wali. Wo main hai (You did the most important planning, of getting married).”
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal married in a close-knit yet lavish ceremony on December 9, 2021.
