Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has given his fans a much-needed update on his upcoming film ‘Nadikar Thilakam.’ He unveiled a character poster from the movie featuring himself in a never-seen-before alluring avatar. Sharing the poster on social media, Tovino wrote, “A star is born to shine.” The movie is directed by Lal Jr of ‘Honey Bee’ fame.
According to reports, Tovino plays David Padikkal, a reigning movie superstar, in the movie. It is anticipated to centre around his professional life, which has encountered obstacles due to various factors, and his endeavours to liberate himself from these challenges.
The film’s production will commence shortly and will span over 120 days, with shooting taking place at multiple locations. Estimated at a staggering Rs 40 crore, the high-budget project features an ensemble cast comprising Veena Nandakumar, Sobbing Shahir, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Lal and Madhupal.
The movie is being bankrolled jointly by Y Naveen and Y Ravi Shankar’s Mythri Movie Makers in association with Allan Antony and Anoop Venugopal’s GodSpeed.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Tovino is simultaneously working on two highly anticipated films, ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ and ‘Anveshippin Kandethum.’
